Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating National High Five Day from 2 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 featuring food and live music.
National High Five Day takes place on the third Thursday of each April and celebrates giving high fives and spreading good vibes while raising funds for the nonprofit CoachArt. The CoachArt organization started celebrating National High Five Day to bring awareness to its cause – offering free art and athletic lessons to chronically ill children and their siblings.
Fort Myers Brewing is jumping on board by celebrating its own High 5 IPA for National High Five Day. The brewery is donating $1 from every High 5 IPA sold in its taproom on April 20 to CoachArt. High 5 is one of Fort Myers Brewing’s most popular ales, offering distinct citrus flavors and dry hopped with a pine and citrus aroma.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy dishes from local food trucks including Viva La Taco and Wicked Streatery, as well as live music by Briz & Lady at 6:30 p.m.
Festivities will be held at Fort Myers Brewing Company, 12811 Commerce Lakes Drive, Suite 28, in Fort Myers. For more information, visit Facebook.com/FMBrew or call 239-313-6576.
