Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating the final days of American Craft Beer Week with limited-time specialty beer releases and a new 10-beer flight board, available now at the taproom while supplies last.

Recognized annually by the Brewers Association, American Craft Beer Week runs through May 21 and is an annual celebration of small and independent craft breweries. Fort Myers Brewing is marking the occasion with the special release of its internationally award-winning Chocolate Stout as well as a Fallen Iguana Cold IPA, El Churrito Stout, and for this weekend only, a build-your-own 10-beer flight board that offers beer-lovers a sampling of 10 assorted craft beers served in 5-ounce pours to share.

The brewery’s Chocolate Stout is an imperial stout that’s chock-full of sweetness and decadent layers of rich chocolate seamlessly melding with subtle wisps of roasted barley and espresso. The Fallen Iguana Cold IPA is a crisp, light-body IPA fermented cold and loaded with Citra and Centennial hops to give it a burst of candied citrus, tropical and pine flavors. The El Churrito Stout is a rich and velvety stout with bold cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate notes.

Fort Myers Brewing is hosting a variety of activities at the brewery throughout the upcoming weekend, including:

  • Friday, May 19 (open until 11 p.m.): Pups & Pints, benefiting Gulf Coast Humane Society, featuring food from Wicked Streatery, Pryceless and Don’t Give Up, as well as Wiggle Bar for the pups, and a live performance by Chris Bepko at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 20 (noon to 11 p.m.): Food from Cositas Gourmet, The Meat Cottage and Mobstah Lobstah, and live music by Tom Beckman at 7 p.m.
