We are looking for a Taproom and Event Coordinator!
Overview
Fort Myers Brewing Company seeks a Taproom and Event Coordinator to manage essential taproom, administrative, and event scheduling duties. This role involves maintaining taproom operations, assisting with basic financial and office management tasks, and eventually working towards establishing vendor relationships, and helping to ensure smooth event scheduling.
The employee’s responsibilities fall under several key categories:
–Taproom Operations
- Organize and replenish taproom merchandise and supplies.
- Handle taproom phone and emails.
–Event Coordination
- Confirm monthly schedules for food trucks and musicians.
- Maintain a tap room TV calendar and update taproom information on the website.
–Office Management
- Oversee office supplies and handle errands (e.g., mail, Publix, etc).
- Monitor and respond to reviews, update auto-responses, and manage social media post-sharing.
Key Responsibilities
–Financial & Administrative Support
–Taproom Operations & Merchandising–
- Weekly tap report reconciliation, daily deposit handling, and taproom cash management.
- Replenish taproom merchandise and supplies. maintain website store quantities & shipments
- Maintain taproom voicemail, manage supply runs (e.g., Costco), and keep the taproom stocked with essentials.
–Event & Schedule Coordination
- Confirm monthly food truck and musician schedules.
- Update the taproom’s digital calendar and website information (not including events).
- Organize and respond to food truck applications and requests.
–Customer Service & Marketing
- Assist with email communications (bi-weekly), monitor customer reviews, and respond as needed.
- Share social media content within community groups to support brewery visibility.
- Update business hours, monitor general inquiries, and maintain positive guest communication.
–Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience in administrative support or hospitality/event management is preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Experience with Canva, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable managing social media and responding to customer inquiries professionally.
